and one month until my permit!
i feel like i'm growing up so fast. i know it sounds silly since like... most of my friends are older than me. but now i'm gonna be able to do what they've been doing that makes me envy their age so much. if that makes sense?
time goes by really fast. i've been noticing it a lot lately. it seems like halloween was just yesterday. i guess i've been busy.
this weekend has been really fun! on friday i went to zipps with keri, lakshmi, nicole, amanda and rebecca after shcool. with tim. the block of wood with red dog bones for arms and an angry face. = lakshmi & bria's HPA project. lol so anyway zipps was cool we ate appetizers and um. chilled. =]
and then today i did a breast cancer walk (5k) with erica, shane, eric, stephanie... and ali dubet. lmfao. we all met at aj's really early and erica got me a chocolate-filled croissant (omg so good) and then we were waiting for ali and she was like really late so we just left. and went to ASU in eric's car. and told ali to meet us there. and it was just funny to observe the awkwardness. and how fucking weird ali was being. lol shane eric and i randomly ran like... 10% of it. it was exhilirating. then we stopped because we missed stephanie and erica. haha and then afterwards i texted rissy and asked if we could go to her condo to say hi. and then ali was like umm i'm going shopping. and so she left. *high five to everyone* omg we're mean lol. but marissa's house was fun. i saw moosey! (her cat)... who used to live in my house but now lives in hers. aww i miss her. anyway riss was in the middle of writing a huge paper about the rocky horror picture show... college is fun! yeah but anyway shane's older brother, eric's older brother, and my sister were all in the 2006 IB class. and shane&eric's bros were bffs and then marissa was friends with them. and it's funny cuz shane and eric are bffs and i'm friends with them. woahhhhhh.
omg whenever i see her she always has the fn cutest clothes. it's unbelievable! it's cuz she lives within walking/biking distance of buffalo exchange and urban outfitters. and is just really awesome. my sister is so cute omg i just wanna like eat her up with a spoooon. everyone said that she and i would get much closer once she moved out (we never got along) and i was always like uhhh no. but it's true. i miss her so much and love her and blahh. rissy <3
ok so then we left and wanted to go to cheba hut... like some weird marijuana themed sub place. but it was closed. so we went to buffalo. i got a nice long-sleeved polo (darkish green) and a nice marooon track jacket with white and gold stripes on the side. and it's fitted. and i just needed warm clothes. it's silly that i go to some like awesome thrift shop to buy... abercrombie clothes. but they were on the sale rack. which i gravitate towards because um... i'm parsimonious lol. i got them both and then these really awesome gold star earrings all for $20. you can't beat that. plus everything's worn-in which i like because i don't like the look of new clothes.
and then after that we went to panda and just sat and talked.
eric paid me 4 dollars to eat a pepper because he licked it and almost died of spice. so i was like i bet i can eat it! and he was like 4 bucks. and it wasn't that bad. except my lips burned for an hour and my bowels are going wacko... mmm lol. yeah but idk i'm from texas nothing is too spicy.
and then we went home. i went to goodwill with my parents... got some movies and a couple of long-sleeved shirts.
i hate the smell of clothes from goodwill. it's like the goodwill SCENT. and it takes a few washes to get it out. it's so weird and i don't understand it. ALL THE SAME SMELL!!!! hahah. oh and i also got 3 pairs of sweatpants... like for winter running and just... the sake of sweatpants. because my legs are too meaty for jeans lol. ew meat. i'm getting so muscular. i just look in the mirror and i have all of the muscle shapes... like even without flexing! so creepy. but it's kinda nice like wow i look fit.
whatever. fit better than fat. but sometimes i wish i was just one of those perfect girls.
i can't believe i just said that. ok i love myself and my body and my life.
lots of homework to get done
and i'm doing charity tomorrow as well. at a bird sanctuary... with lakshmi and nicole and like... lots of nhs kids. so that'll be fun.
