from sick leave
Just got out of the hospital. Well, actually got out of the hospital three days ago. Whatever.
So I had dengue. My right arm's still bruised from all the CBCs. Imagine having to lose a vial-full of your blood day and night. There's came a point when the nurse couldn't even find a vein that they can extract the blood from. I was shit scared at first but after the first six times it felt like nothing...well...not really nothing. It still hurt a bit. A bit. Yeah.
I feel so disconnected. Gah. That sounded pathetic. Haha. But really. I feel like I'm nowhere because I was gone for so long. When I got to school this morning everyone I know looked at me like I was just brought back from the dead. Speaking of dead. Really sorry I wasn't able to attend the gala night, Jake. Will try to watch some other time.
