Dragon Con: Mary Day 3.0
SUNDAY!
We got up at 8. Ick. I went down to the photo area to see if our photos were out yet. At which point I was informed that someone had stolen the computer and camera from Froggy Photos and therefore our BSG group cast shot was gone forever. This sort of made me super excited because that means at 3 we get to go hang out with them again! It sucks that their stuff got taken but maybe this time I can get fulling next to Kate. yay.
So after that we went over to the Walk of Fame and lined up to get in right when it opened. We ran to the Mary line and were only about 7 people back. Then icedteainthebag arrived and we squeed about Mary's blue dress. At first we thought it was the Fan Expo one (which she apparently couldn't zip in the back. So I decided I'd get a hug and attempt to unzip it... But then it turned out to be the Syfy one. So no Mary liberating was done :(
I saw on Luciana Carro's table that she had stuff out that wasn't just photos. She had the Propworx Auction catalogue! Which I'd really wanted and actually ordered but then they didn't have anymore SO I got it and she signed it... And then I got everyone to sign it. Leah got her other one too and we went around and got everyone. It was amazing.
The cover. It's so pretty...
Carro and Vernon signed the inside cover. "Good hunting" and "lots of love" both of which are relevant to my interests.
Alessandro was so cute! He remembered Leah and I from last night's hugfest. He looked through the book (a lot of them hadn't seen it before) and saw his dogtags and said, "Oh man, I wish I had those." I told him he should have walked off the set with them and he said, "I actually have a lot of Gaeta's watches. I mean, I wore them home by mistake! But hey, free watch!" it was fantastic. I asked him about the whistle that you can see in the top right. He thought he'd had a scene with it but couldn't remember. Leah informed him that it was a deleted scene from Water. She then commented on how nerdy that was and he said she was in good company... <3 I'm going to go back to him tomorrow and tell him about my obsession with Gaeta's Lament. And plus? "Peg legs rule!"
Trucco's line was rivaling Mary's at points... He's a hot guy, guess that counts for something. He didn't have a costume page to himself which was dumb so I had him sign his Final Five robe. He said, "Haha they sold a piece of cloth I never wore!" it was adorable.
Hatch was cute. I've met him three times now. Only got my hand stroked this time though... Too many witnesses for anything further I guess.
Kandyse was by far my favorite. She ordered Lunch while we were waiting and kept changing her mind. It was so cute. Then she saw the book and looked at it for a long long time. She couldn't decide where to sign on her costume page so we asked her what her favorite one was and she decided her Dress Blues because she was so excited when she finally got them. She did a little dance in her seat and sang "I got a promotion!" hehe yay. She then said by and "Thanks for the trip down memory lane!"
I had Mary sign her office for me... <3 She was so adorable. She spotted my Caprica Flag skirt and said, "Wow, that's really cute!" *blush!* She then flipped through the book (she was one that hadn't seen it before) It was wonderful. And i'm seeing her at 3 for the photo, for the panel and then hopefully tomorrow for another photo if she's still here! yay!
Now Michael Hogan is a god among men. I have 3 autographs from him now. He signed the CIC for me. "WELCOME ABOARD GODSDAMNIT!" LOVELOVELOVE
Then yesterday I bought the same kind of flask that Adama gives Ellen. So I brought it today to get autographed by Kate and Michael.
3.5 WILL COME AFTER A 6 MONTH HIATUS FULL OF RUMOR AND POSSIBLY A WRITERS STRIKE. (jk, later... once there's drinking done. :))
