I saw "The Day After Tomorrow".
If you've not seen it, it's not a bad flick and the special effects are great but the premise is absolutely absurd. Not to give it all away, I'll just say that about 10,000 years of climactic change takes place in a couple of days. Now comes the scary part.

As I was renting the movie, a group of three or four people were in line with me and, upon seeing that I was renting the movie, they all told me how realistic it was and how we're doomed to suffer this exact fate if we don't elect Kerry.

I just shook my head.....I politely asked what Kerry would do. They all said that he would do away with gas powered cars, destroy big business through taxation (especially oil companies) and save us from ourselves. Amazing. I'm so tired of people being afraid of their own shadows. Shame on politicians that spout fear and hate. Shame on people that make movies and TV shows that tell lies....and double shame on a populace that is so uneducated, gullible and jealous that they'd believe all of that crap.
