Just Got Home
Well, it's pretty much all-nighters now, finishing up the church recording. I've finished woodwinds, brass, percussion, drums, bass, choir, 12 voice ensemble and guitar. I still have to cut strings and piano. The last two weeks have been hectic. Tomorrow I have a new client (Black Gospel) starting an album, recording a violin solo at another studio, recording piccolo overdubs at the church and dress rehearsal for the children's play tomorrow night. Saturday I rehearse again with the children from 8 to 10, set back up for Sunday services, pick Jesse up to finish vocals on her album, take her home and install speaker system in her parent's home that night. Sunday I have a 7:00AM rehearsal, 8:30 service, 10:45 service, strike the stage, set up for children's play, mix play at 7:00PM, then re-set stage for next week. Monday, I set up and run a system for a middle school for their spring concert. Then I get to dump all of the 52 tracks X 14 songs into the computer and start mixing.........
Next week is just as busy. You may only hear from me in groans.
