A/N: This is a Rococo also known as "Late Baroque" Era! Au.

It starts off as a childish game of running around the palace. She insists on playing, even though she knows that the young duke wants to play more of an adult game which he knows they would rather fancy. However, he decides to follow her will. Enchanted by her refined style and her graceful features, he indulges with her. He indulges in a sweet but heated cat and mouse chase.

When he corners her in her room, she doesn’t protest but she does give a toothy grin of mischievousness. He hears the faint yet obnoxious din of the people outside of the palace. He can see the many fires light up the night from behind her as she backs up to the window, never taking that grin off her face. He knows that she pretends to not hear the roars of the people, to hear the tumults of agony and disappear.

He finally has her up against the window and the noise is louder than it was before and it only feeds to his desire for her. He doesn’t hesitate as his breath tickles her soft lush lips that he has to restrain from ravishing. As he spins her around, he hears a groan of pleasure and he knows that he probably hurt more than it pleased her but he knows just how distorted her mind is but she doesn’t plead for him to stop.

Gwiboon would never do so, she’d never even dream of it.

Feverishly, he pushed her hoopskirt and her petticoat up, disregarding all their surroundings and the sounds of the people outside the palace. Pushing down her undergarments in haste, her breath hitches when she feels skilled fingers work their way inside of her. He is and will always be merciless.

She wants to close her eyes but she just can’t and the way he is, she knew better than to close them. She watched as her breath fogged up the window. She watched as the many people raised their pitchforks, raised their many weapons.

“Do you see them?” His low voice rumbled next to her ear, causing her to moan as her hands tightened to fists. She just gave him a simple nod and she could feel him smirking against her neck. He does this thing with his hand, this certain flick of the wrist that has Gwiboon keening, which has her wanting more, craving more.

“I can’t hear you, my Queen.” His voice rose as he started up a slow pace of thrusting his fingers instead of her. It was such a tortuous slow pace that had the Queen squirming and pushing back on him, silently asking for more. Clenching around his fingers, she can feel her wetness dripping down her quivering thighs.

“I see them…Jonghyun…I see them….” Gwiboon said above a whisper.

“And what do you think? You know they want your head? They want you dead.” Jonghyun sung to her quietly as he began to rub himself against her wetness and never stopping the pace of his fingers.

“Let them eat cake.” She purrs to him as he continues his ministrations. They both know that he has no intentions of stopping and she wouldn't have it any other way.

∞ Since SHINee is supposedly doing a french inspired theme (I am still trying to figure out how it is french inspired, my mind was spinning with a different idea. Incase some of you are confused, yes Gwiboon is Marie Antoinette and Jonghyun is just a random duke she is having an affair with.

Also, I hope this will hold you over just a little bit if you are reading the chaptered fic I started called Heartlines.
