So, I'm going to create a filter for specifically autism-related stuff. It'll be an opt-in filter, so let me know if you'd like to be included on that list as I realize that it's not something everyone will care to read. I imagine many of those posts might be rather dull and statistical.
I'm home today, researching. BoyJedi will be out of school soon and I promised him we'd try to teach him how to ride his bike today :-). I'm all for ripping the training wheels and the crank off until he learns to coast. According to my brother, that's how it's done in Europe, and his 3 year old daughter is all over the place on her balance bike. Master Qui-Gon is dubious, though, so we'll see. ;-)
I see the logic - let them learn to balance and steer before you give them pedals and brakes to have to worry about. Naturally this means, flat wide open surfaces, but the end of our cul-de-sac would be perfect for that.
