Could someone explain to me why ShrubCo would need to shut down CIA interrogations of suspected terrorists if the McCain plan is adopted? I guess this is yet another example of Bush's unilateralism of "You're either for us, or you're against us."

This just reinforces my belief that members of this administration are (1) lacking basic intelligence, and/or (2) don't give a shit how the rest of the world views the USA. We've never had problems with the Geneva Convention before. Why now?
