(no subject)
This evening I wandered into Goody's in search of pants that actually fit me. I've had good luck with Lee brand since middle school, so I found a 10 "natural fit", a 10 "relaxed fit", and a 12 and headed for the dressing room. The 10 natural.... didn't fit. Way too big in the waist, way too small in the hips and thighs. The 10 relaxed was better, but still _too big_. What the...?
So I tried an 8 relaxed fit. It worked. I bought two pair.
Two years ago, I'd swear I was a 10 in that brand. I've since gained 10 pounds and gone _down_ a size? Hmm, at this rate, in four years I'll be 40 pounds heavier and a size 0. Stupid vanity sizing.
After Goody's I headed to Barnes and Noble, where I had a cappuccino. I headed home about 11 and crawled into bed. At 12:30 I was still awake. Which is why I'm now at work, dressed in my favorite pajamas, getting ready to go beat on my current project some more. Caffeine after dinner bad.
