Well, That was an Adventure
This weekend was the debate tournament. Eric did quite well. I don't really understand the whole process, but he was pleased, and everyone said he had improved since the last tournament.
I ended up doing my Prose on How the Leopard got his Spots, a Just So Story by Rudyard Kipling. Surprise of all surprises, I lived through it. Actually it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Yes, an "I told you so" is in order here, but please keep it to yourself. :) They give you a score sheet like a dressage test. The highest score possible is 40 points. I did it three times, for different judges. Most of my scores were in the mid to upper 30s, with one 39. And I didn't die, so I'm pleased. :) I'm going to do it again at the Hillsdale tournament next month.
Oh, also, I was accepted to Grace College!
