Hello All,
We are saddened by the news that our dear Cleopatra, feline companion of nearly 17 years, passed into Summerland this evening. She had been moving slower for awhile, but, at her age, that was expected. Suddenly, on Monday, she became unable to hang on any longer.
Her time here was good. She was affectionately known as Dumb-Dumb kitty, because she most often had a puzzled look on her face, and reflexes that were anything but cat-like. Yet there were times when you would talk to her, and she would do something that made you *know* that she was smarter than she ever let on. She never did *meow*, but made sounds more like a chirping bird. She didn't want to snuggle or be held unless it was her decision, and then you COULDN'T get rid of her. She was a very determined kitty. If she wanted in, and the door was closed, she would nigh onto tear the door apart to get in.
We know this was the right thing for her. It would not have been fair to subject her to treatments that, at her age, only had partial chance of helping, and that help would have been minimal.
She will be missed, by us all, including: Jason, Tonia, Cassia, Lil'Bit, Frankie, Sasha, & Frodo.
