So, I've been lately thinking about our favorite boys in 1965-1974 (pre-Roche case)... this was the nostalgic point in the graphic novel, when Dan was fit/handsome and Rorschach was sane/articulate. And a lot of interesting questions came to mind ...I'm curious as to what you guys think.

2. For me, I don't think so. Walter's environment is a mile wide from Daniel's so his perception of things is really different. This includes his own definition of education. To Daniel who grew up well off, that would be synonymous with Harvard while for Walter that would mean how to survive bullies and defend himself. So during their partnership or those rare times as being Walter, it would be one of those things that is the last on his mind.
3. In a psychological pov, that could be a possibility. The inferiority/trauma from childhood could be dragged until adulthood as seen through Rorschach's case. Daniel's inferiority is more overt so probably he could have this tendency to rely on stronger personalities. Rorschach may not be the stereotypical strong personality but his stubbornness could result to Dan just following him to some extent.
4. Partly for practicality and because Dan's such a nice bloke he would give some care to everyone he is acquainted with. As for Daniel giving it to him, I can imagine the argument of Rorschach not needing anything from anyone to Daniel's insistence to simply help. They probably had a tiff over it for a month until Rorschach gave up and grudgingly accept the gun then seeing Daniel's face light up with a smile. XD
