Hello everyone. I have been watching this community for a few weeks now, and so far I like what I've been seeing! I'm a fanfic writer who is going to try and attempt to write a Rorschach/Nite Owl in the following weeks. I second that. Encountered that same problem with my fic, so instead of fighting it, I just ran with it.

Depending on the time line, I believe the before Laurie, Dan could also be a virgin. Lets face it, he's a guy who runs around in a costume at night, and during day he went to school for his degree. He had no social life, and likely no sex life either.

As for topping, I'd have to say that Rorschach has a very powerful personality, and would probably feel rather insecure during the first few encounters. It would probably take a long time before they even get around to removing clothes or groping in reality. Also, that's one way to go if you're looking to make multiple chapters.

So, I mean, when the finally got around to it, it would probably be Rorschach for a while as dominant, and once he got comfortable with the fact that he has a sex drive for men, and is comfortable with Daniel, then I think Daniel could probably move in and be top.

However, if its spontaneous, then I would expect Daniel to initiate it, but once initiated, then Rorschach would probably take over. At least, with the kissing part, anyway.

In the end, I think it could work both ways, but I think Daniel would have to be the one to initiate it most of the time, unless Rorschach didn't have his head about him for some reason, and even then I think the most he would do would be just to kiss Daniel.

I think you're underestimating Dan's ability to get a girlfriend pre-Nite Owl.

Also, 'in all likeliness' doesn't mean for certain. Yes, it's possible, but it isn't carved in stone.

Dan really did seem like a virgin with Laurie, though. Perhaps Twilight Lady is the ultimate tease? It's never really stated in either the book or the movie what sort of relationship he had with her.

Having trouble getting it up doesn't indicate virgin to me. He was older, awkward, and out of practice, sure, but virgin?

Once he's able to get it up for Laurie I'm pretty sure he's got a good idea of what he's doing.
