Well then

So, today I'm in one of those art/music moods where I can't seem to put away my CD's. I walked around Arbury for about an hour to try and satisfy my art craving, but that didn't help too much. There isn't much new there, but I did find an old piece I liked had been redisplayed, and I found two new pieces that are very nice. The old piece is a paper mache sculpture of a man kneeling, with two hands in the air, flipping off the world. But, I'm pissed about it because they still didn't fix it. Last semester, some ass hole ripped off the middle fingers so that only the hanger underneath is showing and wrote a note saying "Is this how you pray?" What an ass. Don't they realize the powerfulness of the piece and how great it really is? Well, I hope that person isn't still here, because they won't like the new piece on the wall. It's a fifteen by fifteen mixed media piece where someone took the bible and ripped all the pages out, pasted it to canvas, and covered it with blood red footprints, dead fish, crickets, and blacked out or circled some of the words. It's wonderful, although I'm sure many people will find something wrong with it. I love how the paint drips from the footprints like they were really made of blood instead of paint. Anyway, the third piece is great! It is an oil pastel of Jonathan Davis, in all reds and blacks. I love it. I absolutely love it.
And what else is new you all ask? Well, I bought the new Korn CD, which I am excited about, even though it is just a combination of the old CDs with a couple new songs. I still love it, anything Korn does is great. I love John's voice on Another Brick in the Wall, right were he says "We don't need no education" for the first time. The tone, depth, and syncronization with the beat is great. Sometimes, certain points in music just strike me; I don't know why, but I really like that one.
As for school, it is the same old same old. I accidentally slept in yesterday and missed my first class. I could have made the last fifteen minutes if I sped really fast, but I decided not to because then I'd just sit on campus for five hours til my next class started. My teacher didn't care too much, which was cool of her, and she even e-mailed my grade on the midterm: a 97%. It's an okay score, but I was excited once she told me that only three people in the class got A's. So, I guess it was better than I thought. (God, I'm such a fucking perfectionist) Braddock's class sucks ass, but I talk to Ryan and Bridget all period, and we basically spend three hours talking about sex, so it's cool. Life is more entertaining that way. I have a midterm today too, but I'm not concerned because it's just for English 482. Other than that, all I'm doing is sitting around waiting for class to start at 7:00.
Well all, I think that is it. Enjoy.
