Farscape problem

I have a problem with Farscape episodes Die Me Dichotomy and Season Of Death, the end of Season 2 cliffhanger and Season 3 intro. (spoilers follow) When the doc drills into Crichton's brain to retrieve the chip that was inserted there, Crichton's speech centers are removed and he can't speak

Maybe Crichton's one of those rare people whose brain is a mirror image of the average brain.

It's a blog run by a doctor who reports on medical stuff in TV shows, comics, etc. for their accuracy or inaccuracy. It's pretty hilarious. I particularly enjoy how he documents all the instances of the "physic nosebleed" phenomenon in comics.
