Another Cast Member To Join "Interns"
It has been confirmed that Tina Fey is now attached to the upcoming comedy "Interns" starring Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn (the first collaboration between the two since Wedding Crashers). Fey is known for her roles on Saturday Night Live, and 30 Rock.
Fey will play the owner of an online fashion business that participates in a community outreach program in which senior citizens intern at the firm, and in turn Fey's character becomes emotionally attached to one of the 70-something widowers.
It's interesting to see more of the story develop, but it leaves me wondering what place Owen & Vince will have in the film. It's assumed that it will be a comedy, but I sense hints of a more dramatic flair thrown in there as well. We'll see as time goes on if we can expect to be holding our guts, or our hearts as the credits roll.
