Trying for a longer post
So.....uh....what to say. What to say. Well, thanks to all of you, friends, for replying. Yes, I have caved. Just like when I said I would never need or want a cell phone.( it was a while ago now) I have caved.
Anyhow, today at work a blind woman with a seeing-eye dog and her companion ,a man with a walker, who didn't seem to have much better sight or capabilities of getting around came in and filled out applications. I'm not sure what they thought they might do at our restaurant, but hey whatever one of our other dishwashers is practically blind anyhow. The thing that was pointed out to me that struck me as odd. It's not that they were applying for jobs, but that they drove. You know it is eastown and we are know for our eccentricities.
That's my story for the day. I'm back to the napping cats and boy.
