Basic Wage Kids #2 cover

Oct 24, 2006 13:27

I'm not going to be attending the Supanova convention in Sydney on October 27-29, but I'm sending some books over with other Adelaideans to sell at their tables, and on Thursday I made a last minute decision that I should probably have a new issue of Basic Wage Kids out for the con. Consequently, I spent the weekend working on this cover in between going to gigs:

Mad props to everyone who knows off the top of their head what the cover is a homage to (unless you've already read the thread over at the Pulp Faction message boards).

This issue collects the second three months' worth of online comics - that's 63 strips on 32 pages at A5 for 4 bucks. Bargain!

As well as Supanova, it will also shortly be available at Pulp Fiction Comics in Adelaide, and online eventually.

2006, homage, basic wage kids, cover, black and white
