Bellissimo Moustachio
Here is one of the seven pieces I have in the current Beards and Moustaches art exhibition. The facial hair-themed exhibition is on display upstairs at the Grace Emily Hotel (232 Waymouth St, Adelaide) until this Saturday (29 May 2010). The gallery should be open between 4pm and 8pm each day. Other artists in the exhibition include Jake One, Jake Two, Cassie Alvey, Tom White, Erick "E" Watson, Jayson Fox, Rebekah Beale, Kerri Wright, Joey Blackwell, Steph Morris and Annamarieke Van Den Heuvel.
It's a mixed media piece painted on an overhead transparency (indian ink on the front, colour paint on the back) laid over a sheet of newspaper.
It sold on opening night (framed) for $75.
