TheWeekend is gone
This weekend was off "the shizzy my nizzy" for mostly saturday, because sunday requires more power and swim skills...
I went to a show with my friend Amy. I was because i thought i was going to miss A Vivid Betrayal, but guess what? they played last now instead of first... Bummer..
I stayed for 3 bands. Burning Cities- saw the guy with the lj (drummer) all had Jerseys(haha shawn), The rose played, off the hook opening with a great song hehe... i took photos of them :). saw some people from my other journal and communities...
although i didnt meet anyone new it was ok... what made my night was the moshing(although the band wasnt that great but hey i wanted to leave a mark at the show). Afraid i was (sexist trying to hit me, you know those afraid feelings, not getting hurt), but i said Fuck! im going to mosh and i dont care what the fuck happens, if those guys dont think girls should be in the mosh then what the hell do they think they are?! I start moshing, felt great. I dontkow what i mosh my inside feels great, im releaving something out of it... I felt at first intimated to get into the pit but then i was back to myself... After the first mosh, i get high fives from my friends and some guys, which made me happy that were happy that a girl would get with them. Saw other girls faces looking at me smiling. After two mosh i left becasue i was next to two girls taht kept hitting me and my friend with their handbanging(didnt have a problem with that).
the moshing at the show was different from most of the shows i goes... it more stomp stomp stomp, but had those spinkick( yeah i tried to do one but i fell because of the wet floor and my stupid pants, never mosh with low rides pants ladies)
I think it was one of the biggest show of the beginning of 2004. The Hall was pack, with alot of great people, not the indie/emo shows that you see the girls just go because they went to get a boyfriend or stuff like that... if i had stayed for the rest of the night i would possibly mosh all night...
Hopefully this weekend i get to go to detroit for the SWORN ENEMY SHOW!!!!!:PUMP:
