Has it really been a week?

Apr 02, 2006 12:50

This week has gone by faster than the bullet train. It's been fun I guess. Not really. School is boring. But it's been really warm! Normally I'd be out ruining my knees, unfortunately that "Top Dollar" board could not withhold the awesome power that is I. Just kidding, I snapped it. What a shame too, to quote one of the guys I forget which one "Iain, you're on fire today," which coincidentally was Friday. Let's run through what I did (skip this you don't get skateboarding, this is more for me than anything else): 20ish kickflips, pop-shuvit late 180, tail slide, 50-50, smith, salad, feeble, ollied over a side walk, nollie cab, full cab, half cab, nollies, bs and fs 180, hardflip, fs flip, ollies over this huge log that Peter set up, and 180s over the log. After 2 hours of those tricks, a large cracking noise came over the street. It was the blank deck that cracked its nose almost clean off. Overcome with frustration, I grabbed the broken board and smashed it into the ground.

After all that was done it was cool, we ate pizza and candy. Not to mention I left some M & Ms on Connor's table at around 10:00ish. At 11:00 I went to go get them and they were all gone. CONNOR'S PARENTS STOLE MY M & MS. Sticking with the M & Ms theme, according to Andy the red M & Ms taste the best. Congratulations Andy, not including anyone with a right wing point of view, you are the stupidest person alive. It sounds mean but it really isn't. Think about everyone who has a right wing agenda like George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Stephen Harper, Ralph Klein, Mike Harris, Rednecks, Albertans, people who don't have any common sense or a shred of intelligence for that matter. Andy's doing pretty good actually. God, I wish I could vote...

Apparently, to Eric I am a "pork chop". He was trying to decide what kind of meat we would be. It was hilarious.

Raymond Haack is such a violent person. Strange how after eleven years of being friends I'm just noticing it now.

Daniel and I were supposed to start driving school but that fell through. Sorry Sillibilly.

Oh my celestial being that may or may not exist! There are so many good albums coming out. I need to start saving my money. Or get a job. I could be a butler! Back to music, here are the albums to watch out for this spring and summer season: The Futureheads, Dirty Pretty Things, Babyshambles, Rainer Maria, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Sounds, and probably a bunch of others. I bought the Yeah Yeah Yeah's latest yesterday as well as The Sounds. Top notch albums. While I was there I nabbed The Moon and Antartica by Modest Mouse because for some reason I don't own it...though I thought I did...the things you learn.

Hair cut time! I actually can't stand all the hair right now. Thank goodness for sweet hats.

Bousille et les justes is such a depressing play.

Day light savings time? I have a really funny idea for a short film (as I usually do) involving this whole Daylight savings shinaniginery. Shinaniginery is a real word, look it up.

Seriously though, who needs a butler? My wages are 9 dollars an hour? If you do hire me as a butler I could do all sorts of things like answer telephones, answer the door, shoo away solicitors, push in chairs, pull out chairs, get freshly squeezed orange juice, and all sorts of useless tasks.

Maybe a butler isn't exactly the best choice for a spring/summer job. Any suggestions are more than welcome though!

Jenny Lewis...I am that much more in love with her. Well, not so much in love with her more of an attraction to her singing and song writing ability. She's pretty too. Her solo stuff is really really good. I mean it's really really really good. It's practically a new Rilo Kiley album which is awesome! I don't know though, I remember last year I really idolised Jenny Lewis now I'm all like you're an amazing singer but that's all. How people change...sorry Jenny, there's a new unattainable lady in my life. And she's not a rockstar so there!

I learned how to Truffle Shuffle just like Chunk in the goonies.

I might be going to The Strokes in May. That'd be sweet.
