Holiday blues
I didn't do anything this solstice but simply be aware that the solstice passed. I didn't really know what to do, what kinds of ritual observances to do, with whom, etc. I don't feel like having a group ritual, dragging my kith and kin through some odd creation of mine. On the other hand, a solitary "observance" is too easy to let slide. None of the rituals I have in books or have seen officially feel quite right, but I'm more determined now to write some rituals afresh - not to do them necessarily (i.e. no pressure or time constraint), but just to create them... as art.

Was looking through ARDA and found the early ritual forms of RDNA. They inspired me to return to a more visceral relation to the sun and earth with a sense that the sacred is ineffable. Inspired to do more.
