So fandom has completely consumed my life for the last two weeks. Probably 90% of my waking hours have been spent watching Doctor Who or Bones or Avatar or Cowboy Bebop or reading/reccing/writing fic and meta. Then again, I've waded knee-deep into the fanworks for two new fandoms (both of which have 3 to 4 seasons actively written right now), set up a new journal and started populating both it and its flist, set out to write my first chaptered fic and a comprehensive starter's list of fandom terms, tried to give my brother tutorials in finding his way around LJ and/or fandom, and convinced my parents to let him get a journal, which we still have to set up.

Oh, and been bunnied every other second. So, for future reference (and blatant seeking of input on what to write), I'm making a list of the bunnies that've been assaulting me. Spoiler-cuts will be liberally applied.

A Rose/Nine getting-together!angst fic surrounding the changes in their relationship that Jack stirs up just by, well, being Jack and stirring everything up. Starts after the blatant angling the gents do to get Rose's attention and dancing/"dancing" in The Doctor Dances and ends with an acknowledgment of everything that is, was, and could have been between Rose and The Doctor as mutually seen through the Time Vortex in The Parting of the Ways. Jack turns out to have been just trying to rile either of them into his bed, and while he doesn't understand their absolute commitment to each other, he sees and accepts it long before either of them do.
Progress: 3,800 words, about one chapter, almost ready for first post.

So that fic is just BEGGING me for a remix where the TARDIS shows Rose an alternate way of ridding herself of the Time Vortex's energy, so that Nine doesn't regenerate and they can continue adventuring PLUS live out some of the promise of their relationship. But I have no idea how I'd end it. Probably with both of them going out in some blaze of glory...which means I'd have to know how Nine can die, and settle the idea of the universe existing without him/the Time Lords.
Progress: 3,800 words if I'm using what I've written for the above; if not, just the bunny.

Six-word stories by rashaka used as prompts:
"Stage right: a love story sabotaged" - Jack's big entrance puts the kibosh on everything that was burgeoning between Nine and Rose.
"Watermelon seeds grew in my stomach" - Katara and Zuko are fighting side by side in the big battle with the Fire Nation, but their conversation has nothing to do with the turmoil.
Progress: asked for and received permission to use the stories as prompts. Starting on the Avatar one first.

There's also Mer's fic, the prompt for which is "no one should have to underground alone" and with the fandom, pairing(s), and everything else wide open. Mind you, I've had a couple months now to think about this, so I'm way behind on planning it. Now that I've got episode transcripts (which is what I should've done immediately), I can start it.
Progress: Episode transcripts, rough outline of plot and pairings.

The sentiment in Keane's Is It Any Wonder?

And I, I get the feeling that I'm stranded in the wrong time/Where love is just a lyric in a children's rhyme

Could be Doctor Who, purely, could be a DW crossover, could be Bones talking about her mindset and how it developed...and so on. Mostly just a line I want to make sure I remember.
Progress: Have the prompt, need the rest.

More to come as I remember them.

So anyway, it's not as though I've been idle. Or without eyestrain and a muse chomping at the bit...*sigh* Does anyone have recs for a good webhosting site for all my WIPs? Or should I just make them private posts here while they're in progress and change the status and posting date when I'm ready to release them?

ETA: 5.31.08 for the Keane bunny.
