I'm considering e-stalking another person. This is not nearly as intense as it sounds. See, I figure part of the joy of LiveJournal is that anybody can read the entries you leave unfriendslocked, and hence the world can read about you if you want. So I take advantage of that by friending people that I've never met but whose journals look interesting. (I always ask and wait till I've received permission to friend them, except possibly in the case of
copperbadge, since Sam welcomes the randomness). It usually stems from an interesting comment they made in
metaquotes, leading to my checking their profile and finding we have interests in common.
I've always wondered about the lives of people I didn't know; that's a major part of why I love people watching, and definitely why I want to be an anthropologist. Thanks to the glorious internets, I can do that without being or feeling like a peeping tom.
