La dee da...oh, I have a journal?!
Whoops, hopefully no one's been absolutely DYING to hear from me recently...my journal-writing skills went to hell when finals and then slow internet hit.
I'm home in The Cities, for the summer, with tons of big plans: working at Caribou, and reading anthropology journals and studies and whatnot, continuing research for MY article/book (still not clear what it's going to be in the end), hanging out with everybody I don't get to see while I'm at school, and (hopefully) going out to the Bay Area for a week or so to visit La Mer and all her friends.
So far, what have I done? Not cleaned my room, religiously. Worked about 30 hours a week, but not at all on my anthropology stuff. Walked around Nokomis with Katie Thompson and my dog about 6 times. Helped my mom write/edit her application to graduate school so she can be the PRINCIPAL of her school next year. Watched movies. Planned stuff with a few people. Possibly alienated a cousin by not doing exactly what she wants me to at her wedding. So basically, some stuff I haven't wanted to and not all of what I have. Meh. I'll get to it.
