joy of (not) cooking

thebroomecloset is working from home today, and so - for a change - am i. it's so nice to be around the house together! we took heidi for a walk over lunch, then had a fantastic salad:

fresh mixed salad greens from last week's veggie box
grape halves
walnuts
crumbled feta
homemade vinaigrette (champagne vinegar, bay pepper oil, kosher salt, fresh-ground black pepper)

sweet and salty and tangy and crunchy and crisp... i <3 refrigerator surprise salad.

and now i'm drinking white tea with pomegranate from tea rex and feeling incredibly spoiled. yay for simple pleasures!
