a half-hour after my scheduled departure time, they have turned the plane around and taken us back to the gate with a maintenance issue. my original connection out of philly was the last flight to rdu tonight - guess i'll be spending the night in PA (and it had better be on usairways' nickel).
oh, well. i have a 25oz water bottle, an odwalla superfood, one leftover piece of roasted garlic chicken pizza, a usa today, a wine spectator, an outside magazine, and my inflatable pillow. i can keep myself fed, watered, amused, and comfortable for however long it takes to sort this out.
(it's times like these that i really miss my ipod, tho.)
