You live in NC and have never had BBQ rattlesnake? Next biker rally you drive past, stop on in for a while. Rattlesnake is quite tasty, and getting it right off the grill is really somethin' else.
And... while the $50+/lb cost is a turn-off to many, a pot of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is one of life's treasures. If you ever go there, bring me back some :) Or if you know anyone who's going to Jamaica, ask 'em to smuggle a pound for you. I've had a few friends being be back some excellent coffee from foreign places (most recently a pound of Tarrazu from Costa Rica), again, one of life's treasures.
Kobe beef burgers were one of the little yummy gastronomic surprises tvresq and I enjoyed out in Vegas and again in Napa Valley. Hadn't tried 'em before, but... wow!
actually, i'm not positive i never had it; i've eaten a bunch of weird things in my life, and that may be one of them. (i have a "tastes like chicken" memory, but i'm not sure whether it was that or alligator.) so i only bolded the ones that i specifically, distinctly remember eating.
coffee is wasted on me; i love the smell, can't stand the taste. but i'll remember your request if i ever get to jamaica!
if i'm going to eat kobe beef, it'll be in filet form. i like good meat unadulterated. :)
You know... the one thing that people tend to all have unmarked on this Meme..... is #63. Kaolin(ite.) it is a clay mineral, and it is used as a thickening agent in a great many mass produced ice cream type products (among other things,) including McDonald's Milkshakes (I am 100% sure) and Wendy's Frosties (I am about 95% sure)...
(let's here it for random useless knowledge from minerology class....)

(i'm a frozen-dairy snob. i like ice cream, dammit, or gelato, or sorbet. none of this artificial chalk-consistency crap for me.)
