This is more an essay than a state of the union meme, because I realized when I was talking to Kuhn, that I desperately need to essay about Cielo's current mindset. Because I've been having increasing problems playing with him, and, well, until I talked to Zhores, I hadn't realized how fucked up the inside of his head has gotten.

( Wow is Cielo fucked up. Mentioned spoilers regarding Cielo's character arc up through the Airport. )

Sera actually probably seeks Cielo out a fair bit, just because he's easy to hang out with, but... yeah. Neither of them want to burden the other by confiding in them. XD Annnd Sera got mindfucked by the kill game so she's pretty useless right now anyway. She looks like she's coping from a distance, but she's really, really not.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. WE SHOULD THREAD SOMETIME SO WE CAN BE ADORABLY FAIL AT EACH OTHER AND CIELO CAN TRY TO REASSURE SERA THAT THE WOLF GAME WAS TOTALLY OKAY. I probably can't manage anything as awesomely fail as "it's totally all right because the world deserved to be destroyed", but I can try!

But my death is much less important than yours! ...Which actually reminds me that I wanted to essay about how the lack of any purpose here is one of the things that's getting to him. Cielo's okay with his death in large part because he doesn't think his comrades need him all that much.

CLEARLY SO WELL ADJUSTED. I vote therapy be made mandatory for all Megaten characters.
