Vocoder Funk
RL's been difficult (but not in a wholly bad way), so I haven't been around much. But there's always time for music. Upbottom, the third installment in the latest mix trilogy, is now up.
This one's ended up being more of a 'non-stop dance mix' than any of the previous ones, and probably as a result, it's a bit more uniform in mood. Incidentally, none of the fades in any of these are done in realtime - I don't have the equipment for that. The mixes are done in, of all things, Cubase.
Regrettably, I couldn't track down the short instrumental version of Kraftwerk's "Tour de France" - it would have been perfect. (You listen to all that heavy breathing and tell me it's just a song about bicycles. Well, okay, maybe if it was Mirqur's bike...)
