The Halloween Feeling makes for a happy and content Alex. ^_^
Not sure how good they are, given the fact that they're Oh, So Rushed, but I managed four attempted Halloween-themed fics this year. Would'a been five, but the plotbunny for the Last Unicorn one wasn't cooperating, timewise. Although, if you count Ghast....
Archived at FF.Net for the moment, because I'm lazy with formatting, but:
Final Fantasy I:
The Disciple's Lament. The story of a "mad scientist" type who picks up a Light Warrior as a specimine. This turns out to be a Bad Thing™.
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within:
Jubilate Agno. Neil's cat gets lost on Halloween.
Legend of Zelda II:
Fading Glory. I'm braced for this one getting sat on. Not only is it based on the early American Canon (The cartoon, and the slightly more mature comic books based on the cartoon, etc...), it has a plot-central Original Character. GASP! ... But I wanted to try, anyway.
Ultima VII:
No Place Like Home. The Avatar (Aka: The player; Aka: Alex's fictional alter-ego) causes trouble in Britannia. Not strictly Halloween, but the first chapter is, and SPARK and PUMPKINS!
So the moral is: I enjoyed writing some, and knocked out some old plotbunnies (and stepped on a new plotbunny) in the progress. Yay!
