OV JV Cheerleader’s,
Welcome to the 2005-2006-football season. You all did a great job at try-outs wish I could have kept everyone but we had to stick to what uniforms we have. We will have practice on Mon and Wed. nights from 6-8:30. I expect all of you to be there, if I am giving up my time so should you. Practice will start at 6pm and if you are not there at that time you will be late and will serve a punishment. No shows will really have a punishment. All of us heard Deb’s attendance policy. There will be a prize for all girls who make it to all summer practices without a tardy.
Grades are very important to me and if you are struggling in a class let me know so we can find you help. (THIS is before you are on the failing list). I hope all your parents agree with me that grades come first and if there is an issue please let me know. You need great grades for college. You could be the best athlete at any sport and you will not be looked at if you don’t keep you grades up!
Most of you have cheered before but the quicker we learn the chats and cheers for games the quicker we can stunt and work on competition. So if you don’t know them and could get with someone who does, it is only better for you and the team.
Deb will be giving us the order forms to order shoes, lollies, and bodysuits. This will need to be turned in ASAP so we have everything before red and gray night in Aug.
Also I would like to talk with all of you and get our sweatshirts ordered soon so you can have them to wear to school during the season. Not wait till the end of the season to order them. I have a couple different suggestions, and cost will be approx. $50.00 depending on what we decide to get on them. Sweatshirts will be ordered thru Threadlines and will be stitched not screen-printed.
I don’t know if there will be camp in Aug. yet Deb has not decided. I will let you know as soon as I know.
