I woke up today and sat on the toilet bowl and a song came into my mind, L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole.
I bet everyone knows it goes 'L, is for the way you Look at me', right? So I was thinking: Why, if you didn't know Look began with L you'd think that L starts with The, right? If you're not an English speaker or something, and you learn the song. Haha.
But then, as I sat upon the excretal throne, I realised that the key lies in the music.
The note for "L" and "Look" of "look at me" is the same. Similarly, the note for "O" and "One" of "one I see" is the same. "V" is structured a little different, but there is emphasis on the word 'extraordinary', which is the message of the song about Love, so you can't really say it deviates from the song's motif.
Just a fleeting thought. I'm no hard-core musician, but I thought this was a nice personal discovery. :)
