So, a couple days ago, I was killing some time by perusing the videos on YouTube and came across one that claimed it would show you how to catch Mew through a glitch in Red and Blue.
Now, I was already skeptical because everything that I knew about this glitch said that it only worked in the Japanese versions of the games. They fixed it before they brought Pokemon over to America. But when I was watching the video, it was obviously erroneous because the Pokemon it showed battling were in color. And anyone who remembers the Red and Blue versions knows that they were either tinted red or blue depending on your version of the game.
So, the obvious error that was apparent in the video isn't the point of this post. Rather, it's all the people berating me that I'm an idiot and that this works, when it's quite obviously a forgery. Jason thinks that there's probably a small group of people who keep posting to this video, since it was posted on YouTube about 4 years ago, and that they know it's false and just want to make it seem legit.
I guess I wonder why people would waste their time on such foolishness and why they can't just move on. The internet is a strange, strange place...
