High School Reunion
I just got an invite to my 10 year high school reunion.
First off....it's been TEN YEARS?! WTF? I'm OLD!!!!!!!
Secondly, I am really not all that jazzed at the idea of going back to hang out with people from my high school days. The people that I wanted to keep in contact with after high school I have kept in touch with; everyone else, well, there really wasn't much desire after I graduated. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that most people who read this LJ probably didn't enjoy their high school days either....unless they were the mascot. ;)
So why should I get dressed up to go socialize with people that I hardly remember, who likely don't remember me, and whom I don't really care what they have done with their lives?
Now, if things would turn out to be like Gross Point Blank, then maybe I would go. Somehow, though, I don't think that's very likely.
