I have realized this because women have such high expectations of them. We watch these movies where there is a beautiful woman that needs saving, physically or mentally, metaphorically, however you want to call it, we are that woman. Then, there is a man, the main character, surely good looking, romantic, but tough enough to keep back the ridicule from the guys, this is our future husband. We women want to be 'figured out' by this handsome devil, we want this man to solve all our problems, wash away all our worries, and be rescued by this man. Women all want to be rescued. But the thing that I have just realized is that we already have a hero. Jesus
Point 1. He was a good looking man. Surely if you have looked at a picture of him on the cross, hes got some rock hard abs, and a nice manly beard.
Point 2. He could throw right back to the pharisees what they were dishing out.
Point 3. He has 'figured out' the heart of the whole female race, and the male race as well. He solved all of our problems, and his dad has got all the goods to take care of our worries.
Point 4. He rescued us. He died for us. he came down from his heroic lair and saved us from the evil super villain.
Point 5. He is romantic. he wants to spend time with us, he is always there for us, he loves us always, and there is nothing we can do to change that.
Jesus has got it all, that makes me happy. What more could a woman want? someone to do the dishes. I guess we will have to pray about that one.
