[For those Johan knows in Goldenrod, they might have seen him out and about today!! And, naturally, the duelist is extremely torn up about losing his Pokemon to the horrors of video games. ... Except, he isn't. They're still there, strange form or no, and that's a lot more than he can say about his family. So he's just been walking around in a sort of... odd calm, trying to see if he can find anything normal.
... And of course, he's carrying around a pixelated version of his little Nidoran. Not keeping her on him would definitely bother him.]

[Johan narrowly avoids slamming right into a stationary NPC, and after offering a shaky apology to them, he wanders past them.]

If you're listening-- These fossil creatures kind of remind me of Jim! I bet he'd be having a good time with them, so it's up to us - all of us, even all of you guys who have no idea who Jim is - to do the same!
