So last week, I watched TV Patrol. And there was this segment there na they were interviewing people who were in Boracay for the Holy Week. Ang tanong ng reporter, "Anong mga religious activities ang ginagawa niyo dito?". Ang sagot naman nung isang girl, "Inaalala parin namin si Jesus kahit andito kami." and nung isang dad, "We still pray.". OH, YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. How can you remember religion when you're in Boracay, having the time of your life? I mean, kaya nga Holy week, diba? It's a time for reflection, and not relaxation. People talaga.
But anyway. I haven't been posting kasi I've been busy. Muhahaha. This is how I spent my Holy Week:
Maundy Thursday
Went to Tagaytay! Kasi every year, we visit this church called the Pink Sisters Adoration Church and do the stations of the cross there. We were surprised na marami nang tao ang andun, kasi akala namin Friday pa sila pupunta. And even though it's Tagaytay, it was hot as hell parin.
Good Friday & Black Saturday
Naglinis kami ng ate ko ng room namin! -->
Our room. It's oh-so-pink. And now, it's oh-so-clean.
Ah, the desk. Puro kalat ko yan. Kaya ako ang naglinis ng halos lahat.
The bed. I know, it's still messy pero tinamad kaming palitan yung sheets. Haha. :P
My cabinet! Notice na kumonti yung clothes. Pinalabhan ko halos lahat kasi yung iba hindi ko makita dati. :))
Waaah. Our new & improved bookshelf.
Easter Sunday
We attended mass at the Edsa Shrine. And kahit na 12:00 noon yung mass namin, there were still A LOT of people. Tapos after, we went to Shang-Ri-La to buy my brother's
iPod Video! 30 gigabytes siya. It's so beautiful! Hahaha.
Hay. And that was my Holy Week. More pictures from Tagaytay will be posted on my
Multiply later. :)
