footpalm- (foot-pahl-m) n. A small tree, related to the palm, although slightly bushier. It is
about one hand length high, and diagonal stripes cross its body, until cut off by a small
"belt." The footpalm has but two roots, just barely embedded in the ground. Each root
appears to be wearing a "shoe."
