avoid the lusts that make you weak
Well my life has seemed to return, to the way it was before hurricane Frances. We lost power late Monday evening and didn’t get it back until late last night. Oh man, let me tell you, it was the worst thing ever. I don’t think I have ever been so scared. Trees were knocking down everywhere, slamming in and on people’s houses and cars. Our shutters and other things got blown off. It rained about 15-20 inches. I forget how fast the winds were exactly, but it scared me shitless. I moved as far away from my window as possible. Everything is slowing started to turn in to how it used to be.
Now we have to worry about Ivan. If it stays on the path it is currently taking we are going to get hit straight on and it is supposed to be much worse. But who knows. The path could always be changed and I am hoping that is what happens.
I finally got to go to school today. Haha. I had a 5 day weekend that became really boring Monday night. One good thing that came of this was major family time. :D. My brother was down for the weekend, we had pretty decent weather before he left. I had so much fun with him.
We got progress reports today. All A’s for Whitney. Nothing more to say about that. Haha.
Oh man, I swear everyday about 3-5 people ask me or say something about my eyebrow ring, and I don’t mean in a bad way. They all seem to be so amazed. I guess because most of the people here don’t really see things that are out of the ‘norm’. Erm, I don’t like that word but I didn’t know what else to use. It just seems so much different here. Everyone is so damn conservative. I don’t know though.
Anyway, I must go shower now.
Ohh yes!! Tomorrow is Will’s birthday, so incase I don’t update tomorrow:
