It's good to hear someone with a bit of sense in regards to this ordeal.

The drunks are loud enough without the panicking people adding to it.

Even if it lasted for days there's still other water.

They'll only get worse as the day goes on, you know. One would think they'd understand the value in moderation. I'll admit, I've had a glass this afternoon, and you won't soon find me falling all over myself.

I've seen men--and some women--drink their weight in stuff like this but I still don't get it. Not good enough to pay for.

But I guess that's not an issue today. Hopefully just today.

I suppose it's just too much of a good thing. Or perhaps they're afraid they'll never have the stuff again after today.

It should only last the day. They'll certainly regret all this come tomorrow.

I have, yes--more than once. It was unsettling the first time, amusing the second, but it's beginning to get a little tiresome. For me, at least, having seen it so often. Although, the last time this curse came through, it decided to dress us all up in ridiculous outfits at the same time.

Short leather trousers, for example, and ridiculous little laced up jackets. It's the native costume for a country in my world, but I don't know if people from other worlds saw the humour in it the same as some of us did.
