It's Getting Hot in Here . . .
Dear Lord, but it's warm. Almost 90 degrees out and it's nearly midnight.
Hello, LJ. Somehow, I have managed to get out of the habit of updating regularly. I am taking a page from sunsetmog and silverweaver, among others, and attempting to make July the month of posting.
Some things that have happened since last we spoke:
1) miss_begonia and I have moved into a tiny, little old-Italian-lady rowhouse in South Philadelphia.
2) We were adopted by a kitten! He literally followed Miss B home, and now we are the proud parents of Catticus Finch, who never backs down from a fight.
3) I have mostly unpacked! And mostly acquired furniture.
4) I lost my job, approximately 2 weeks after we moved. Which sucks, but they were super-nice about it, and also made it possible for me to file for unemployment, which was not originally in the cards. So, some positives.
