It's not quite a new life for me, but I figured with the start of a new month, and the end of a big project, I would try to make July the Month of Posting More. I hope.
I'm working on everyone's (awesome) prompts, but in the meantime, lots and lots of my Flisters are having epically bad days (weeks, months, seasons), so I thought I'd try to make things a little better, at least.
First, after weeks and weeks of faffing about, bandom is making me smile all over the place.
So apparently, Brendon and Spencer are still being adorable and couple-dating with the Simpson-Wentzes, as witnessed by the following at-home entertainments:
Brendon and Spencer singing baby Bronx
a lullaby that is sweet and charming and makes me want to hear their new album. Gimme that new album, Panic!
Brendon, with Spencer and Pete giggling in the background, covering Sublime like it ain't no thing:

I love how it's like shadow-puppet theater, and all you can see is the outline of Brendon's glasses and Bronx's tummy-time gym through the patio doors. Also, the way that Brendon just tosses off this amazing vocal and then sort of "aw shucks" his way through the end. Mr. Urie, I don't know about you but my backyard singalongs don't sound like that. Take a bow. :)
In case you want to listen to it over and over again (not that, um, I know anyone that's doing that or anything):
Boss DJ (Sublime Cover).
Oh, and apparently in between backyard BBQs, the Fall Out Boys are also making a video for What a Catch, Donnie, including cameos from none other than B.Urie and S.Smith (who is, I'd like to point out, looking like he's in close to fighting trim for the first time in a while. Apparently all that surfing has done him good.) The cut line comes from Mr. Urie himself, who apparently missed the boat and fell into the water, and shouted the above when they hauled his wet ass out of the drink. &hearts
Brendon, looking stern:
And looking far less stern (note Spencer, looking hot, in the far right corner):
Everyone looking incredibly surprised at -- something:
I know you will be distracted (and rightfully so) by Patrick's epic sideburns, but check out Brendon and Spencer, partially blocked by Andy Hurley's head, whispering to each other like schoolgirls. I believe that
ericapls wanted to know what Spencer was whispering to give Brendon his "O" face:
Oh, and hey, as an added bonus, this
other attractive band just put out a
a single with none other than
Miss Blair Waldorf herself.
MTV II, which allegedly plays videos from time to time, has a
behind-the-scenes look, with the whole video at the end. It's pretty awesome.
And, because
ericapls,
floridapeaches and
wearethestars especially are having epically bad days, I thought I'd offer a mix of music that makes it perfectly acceptable to cry your weary eyes out:
