i think the world of you, with all my heart i do
here's a weird question: when i was in high school (6 whole years ago!), we used to have fundraisers where we would sell these lollipops that tasted like deserts. they were key lime pie, and strawberry lemonade, and cherry cheesecake, and root beer float and about a dozen other flavours. they were delicious and big (approximately an inch in diameter) and this afternoon, i am craving one of these suckers like crazy.
shot in the dark: do any of you know which candy company would make something like this that i would be able to buy on my way home? _broken_mirror_, i'm counting on you, here.
EDIT: vandonovan found them: ozark delights. but, as suspected, they are only available in bulk. SIGH.
and while we're talking about food, i made the best macaroni and cheese for dinner. i sauteed chicken and mushrooms before making the cheese sauce and i baked it all together with buttered breadcrumbs on top. the only thing is, i made enough to feed a family of 10. i'm gonna need to freeze it in meal-sized portions.
i want to make a good soup from scratch. i wish i owned a crock-pot.
i.o.n., i have reach epic, never-before-seen levels of abject boredom. people die from this kind of boredom. and my book project is stalled by the fact that i'm reading a book i no longer enjoy, but can't seem to stop reading. i just need to finish it. i started zadie smith's white teeth after i finished guilty feet, and just couldn't follow through on it. no i'm reading babyji and it just will not end. ugh. i want to re-read a patrick kenzie novel, but that would mean unpacking my books.
