jeb and i lotr-cast the cats:
pippin, is grossly mis-named. he's much more of dwarf. grumpy and difficult, but ultimately kindhearted. also, he's huge, and should lumber, but is totally light on his feet.
puffin, jeb's long haired orange tabby. he's a pretty elf. not one of the fighters, but the prettiest for sure.
gorilla, soft-bellied and sweet, is completely hobbity. he gets along with everyone.
and there's frankie, the ringwraith.
also, if the cats were a fandom, everyone would ship frankie/puffin. frankie is the bad boy who seems to love no one but himself. but he's got a real soft spot for puffin, and is always groping him in public and biting the back of his neck, or holding him down for grooming. the other big pairing would be pippin/puffin who are all best friends at first sight, but are way too close for anyone to believe they're just friends. gorilla and puffin have all the friends since they were kittens history, and everyone knows how much we love that arch.
and yes, i am aware that i just spent damn near 20 minutes typing a post about the cats. this is exactly what you should have come to expect by now.
