so, i got up this morning about 8:30 and went for a jog. i can only wallow in my losing at life for so long. i felt pretty good at the end of it. i took a shower, shaved my legs and managed to get shave foam in my eyes. but i didn't cut myself.
i went to cvs to return some dvd-r's and then i treated myself to a skim latte and a veggie sandwich at abc. on the way to eva (which, ps. i found a much more awesome way to get to the hospital from my place - no busses needed!), she called and asked for some word find books, so i went to this other cvs and went to hang out in her room. she was in good spirits and had eaten over the weekend, but she got sick again while i was there. her mom, sister and niece kaitlyn came by to visit, and we caught up. kait turned four on thursday and she is so my favorite little person in the world.
she told me this knock knock joke 5 times. (knock knock, who's there, cheese, cheese who, cheese cake.) and when you ask her how old she is, she says every number except four.
susan picked me up from the hospital and we went for an early dinner and a movie.

we did our grocery shopping at trader joe's and i got cinnamon cat's cookies and corn on the cob. i fell off my wedge flip flop on the way up the path home and now my ankle is really sore. and i bent a toe.
overall, this day gets a sigh. but it's just a little one. no exclamation marks.
