roommate shit
i am, at heart, a kind and helpful person. i will bend over backward and inside out for my friends, and largely i have never had to regret this about myself. at the beginning of april, i lent jesse his half of the rent because he told me his wallet had been stolen and that he'd be able to pay me back as soon as his out-of-state bank sent him a new debit card. now, i can hardly believe i thought he was telling the truth. i feel foolish and angry and i haven't seen him in over two weeks. i have begun to think about what will happen if he doesn't pay me back. i think i will be a profoundly different person. and i am afraid of that.
cinco de mustache
on saturday night, susan, kathleen, lanita and i went to a dive bar in kirkwood for cinco de mustache. hah! it was pretty lame, but the pictures are about as hilarious as you'd have expected them to be.
therapy
i really like therapy, but this week i am skipping it in order to sleep in really really late. i think that will also be therapy.

i don't really think this dude likes women that much. i watched volver with kathleen last night, and while i thought parts of it were really touching and beautiful, it mostly left me feeling cold. and a little creeped out.
cat named bagel
my downstairs neighbor has a cat named bagel. whenever pippin ventures out onto the back porch, bagel charges up the stairs and chases pippin back inside.
tired all the time

too much caffeine in my diet
i just really love starbucks y'all. also, dunkin donuts and indie coffee and javamonkey.
dinner at whole foods tonight
was a green coconut milk curry over rice with a spinach and gorgonzola salad on the side. i also had a cookie. i guess that means i win.
