AU In a Nutshell: In which everyone is a Homo Magi and the Shadowpact replaces the JLA. Also: magic is totally kept secret from the public.

More Details:

# Ridiculously knowledgeable on most worlds because of his time traveling abilities. If possible, he'll pretend he's from canon unless someone punctures his bubble and figures the truth out. (Basically, Bart does not like people knowing he's magical. It just does not end well for him most of the time.)

# Never actually died. Thaddeus Thawne Allen is his twin brother - the more rational of the two - and is surprisingly sane when it comes to most matters. As people put it, "Thad thinks, Bart acts."

# Dabbled in alchemy for two years, but nothing ever came of it. Bart got bored after the lesson on potions and promptly quit - much to Max Mercury's relief and Thad's dismay - so Thad took up the mantle.

# Likes the world of superheroes a lot. To him, it feels like fun and games - and for a time traveler who can literally stop time, it probably is - so he'll still be as gung-ho about it as ever. On magical matters, however, he turns very serious if necessary.

Signature Abilities:

+ Time Manipulation: This is the big one; Bart is what people could call "a Time Lord." He can effortlessly bend time to suit his own needs, regardless of how/what others might perceive him. He can age and de-age himself (along with various plants, other human beings, and what-have-you); stop the flow of time; reverse it; and... pretty much anything most people can imagine.

NB: However, in exchange, Bart sucks as a true Homo Magi. Time Magic - and any logical extensions of it, like "Memory Magic" - is his specialty. He has to struggle to learn any other kind of magic.

+ Dimension Hop: Unlike other Homo Magii, Bart can take others to other dimensions simply by willing it. At this point, Bart can currently take three other people across time and space without straining himself.

+ Combinations | Mini Unisons: Bart can easily combine two types of weak spells to form new ones. (An example would be his old attack 'Time's Wave', which combines the basic spells Slow and Water.)

+ Gift Magic: Using other people's "signature artes," Bart can perform weaker versions of his friends' spells provided that they have a decent relationship. (In this aspect, it makes up for him sucking at all other forms of magic: he knows his friends' moves and can use them in battle.)

+ Riple-Proof Memory: Regardless of how the time stream plays out, Bart will remember various outcomes.

+ Memory Rewrite: ... In exchange, however, he can also mindwipe people and re-arrange memories so that they don't remember certain things. The power of mindwiping lessens with each try, so Bart refuses to do it even more than once if he absolutely has to.

+ No Alcohol for You!: If Bart so much as drinks a sip of alcohol, his magic disappears. (He won't become drunk until he drinks enough wine/beer/vodka to completely drain him of his magic and knock common sense out the window.) For this reason, he avoids "adult parties" and non-mage bars at all costs.

Acquired Gift Magic: (Spells Bart's learned from his friends. Typically, Bart is a dork who adds chants and rhymes to ordinary spells "just because it sounds cooler.")

# Datastream: Given by Tim Drake, this spell allows Bart to pinpoint his enemies' weaknesses and strengths.

# Holy Song: Given by Conner Kent, it's a church hymn that can restore a person's health and heal minor skin injuries (it also cures most ailments like poison, confusion, etc.).

# Matrix Illusion: Given by Jaime Reyes, this spell allows Bart to create weak holograms around a battlefield to prevent Norms - people without magic - from seeing magic at work. (Basically, a weak temporal shield using data magic.)

# Sharp Eye: Given by Cassandra Sandsmark, this spell increases Bart's evasion and accuracy to ridiculous lengths. (Typically used in fistfights, this one allows Bart to act like the fast speedster we all know and love.)

# Stardust Breaker: Given by Courtney Whitmore.

# Stone Break: Given by Tara Markov.

# Aqua Pulse: Given by Lorena.
