Muse Found
So I managed to find my painting muse I think. I spent far too long on Saturday going over stuff for my Space Marines and coming up with a new army list for them. I then set about to see how much of it I already had assembled. Those of you who know this signs, know that this means I am about ready to go on a massive painting kick again. As much as I love the Tyranids, I just do not feel confident with them as an army to even be competitive.
I also need to go see the dentist. I wish I could say its sympathy pains for Abby, but alas I know it is not. Its a tooth that totally needs a root canal. The dentist tried to get slick with it a year ago, and the fact that its lasted this long is amazing, but its time is rapidly coming. Right now it hurts like hell.
I am planning to fill out an application for NOVA today. As part of this process I managed to view a copy of my transcript from the one year of college I went to. Holy shit I was a horrid student. Like really horrible. Looking at it made me feel horrible and dejected at the prospect of even trying to go back to school, let alone showing this transcript to anyone. Still, its about 20 hours worth of credits, or roughly two grand as I like to look at it. I wouldn't leave that kind of money on the ground just because it had dirt on it, so yea. My only solace is that I've been blessed in a manner that I am still very successful even without a degree.
Other than this the weekend was fine, though felt surprisingly short.
