PTK Convention!

 I come to you today from the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia! I'm at a Phi Theta Kappa convention that's going on here. It's been a pretty interesting experience and I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of people, even some from as far away and Singapore. It's an international organization but it is heavily based in the USA. There are elections going on for international president and such going on so there is a lot of energy here. I have been attending workshops getting to know the organization and hopefully I'll be able to bring all of this information back and keep my chapter great. Any college I apply to should think it's awesome that I was the president of a Phi Theta Kappa chapter, so it should make it easier to get into my preferred schools, namely those pretty ones out in southern California; some of you may know why I want to go to school out there ;-) It's been pretty fun, though that's not to say there haven't been some boring parts, like right now. I'm just waiting for my next workshop to start, it's going to be about how to meet different hallmarks in order to get your chapter a 5-Star rating. I'm going to go wander around some more though, so I'll update some more later.
